2 lbs. turtle meat (with fat)
2 qts. hot water
2 medium onions, chopped
3 tbsp. bacon fat
1 can tomato puree
2 large potatoes, diced
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1. Cut turtle meat into small cubes.
2. Cover with hot water.
3. Cook 15 minutes.
